The Tea RoomPosted by Photographs by M.E. (Tustin, United States) on 12 May 2007 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. Location: Fannette Island Tea Room on Emerald Bay in South Lake Tahoe, NV. The stone structure on top, that looks like a miniature castle is the "Tea Room" built between 1928-29; the island owner, Mrs. Knight would occasionally serve tea to her guests there. A small fireplace in the corner and a large oak table and four oak chairs in the center of the 16 by 16 foot room gave it a very rustic appearance. The tea room has been vandalized in recent years and today only the stone shell remains.
