The Golden Gate Bridge

Posted by Photographs by M.E. (Tustin, United States) on 4 January 2008 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

Note the Golden Gate Bridge. This famous bridge isn’t named for its color - orange, but for the entrance to San Francisco Bay, which was dubbed the "Golden Gate" some 150 years ago by prospectors who passed through it on their way to California’s gold fields.

Part 2 on how I spent the Christmas holidays with my family series. This picture was taken from the restaurant where we had our pre-christmas brunch.

Once more, many thanks for the visit and comments my Aminus3 friends.

M.E. thanks you for your support, visit and comments.
